Counseling is a very intimate and personal journey, of which requires specific tailoring on a case by case basis. I facilitate the therapeutic process by integrating traditional, creative, and experiential interventions specifically for each client. Through my clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, I strive to place emphasis on the therapeutic relationship by providing a warm and collaborative environment.
I enjoy meeting you where you are in your healing process, and specialize in working with trauma, grief, and survivors of all kinds. My overall approach to therapy is holistic and promotes the integration of mind and body wellness in a space that fosters healing and growth.
Mental health counseling is a form of help that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of many individuals. Some mental health professionals, including me, intentionally incorporate spiritual or religious elements into their therapeutic practices. I do so because I primarily serve a Christian community, because my clients also adhere to religious principles in their own lives, and I subscribe to the belief that people experiencing distress can especially benefit from the help of God and spiritual empowerment.
ADHD is my superpower and I enjoy helping clients make sense of the chaotic mind. If you are constantly overthinking before bed or feeling paralyzed by your daily to-do list, we will work together to break that cycle. I understand past experiences, often unidentified traumas, shape how we show up in present interactions. Life transitions can be difficult, and it is my pleasure to assist you whether you are changing careers, expanding or downsizing in family roles, or just trying to decide what's next. Life stressors are inevitable, but they don't have to be anxiety-filled experiences.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Registered Play Therapist. I have a background in education as well as social work.
As a military spouse of more than 27 years and a former military BRAT, I understand what it means to navigate constant change, uncertainty, and rebuilding. Those experiences have shaped the compassionate, culturally responsive approach I bring to therapy today.
I provide virtual therapy for adolescents and adults in Texas, Colorado, and Florida, supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for working with military members, veterans, military families, the BIPOC community, and parents and caregivers who have spent so much time caring for others that they've lost sight of themselves.
My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported—not judged. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, build practical tools for everyday life, and help you move toward healing, resilience, and lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Outside of therapy, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, exploring museums, trying new cuisines, baking from scratch, or working on a creative project. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.
